NFL Responds to Former Players Lawsuit.

The National Football League filed its legal brief in response to the lawsuit brought by four retired players in the case of Eller v. NFL.  Per the allegation outlined Eller, the retired players content that their retirement benefits will end if a collective bargaining agreement is not renewed by March 11, 2012.  The NFL claims that the former players lack standing to bring their antitrust lawsuit since federal law disallows courts from getting involved in labor disputes.
